The Royal Hotel Arklow is surrounded by many of Ireland’s top Golf Courses.
Our Golfing Society has been going for over 15 years and has 30 members at present.
Sally’s Golf Society is the follow on from the Tunnel Golf Society, which got to two quarter finals of the Daily Star All Ireland Golf competition.
We host six outings per year including a captains weekend away.
Our current captain is Dave McDonald and our vice captain is John Hempenstall jnr.

Founded in 1987 and already a giant in the game worldwide,having achieved a place in the Worlds Top-100 Courses consistently since 1994.Tiger Woods loved playing here when warming-up for the British Open. Padraig Harrington went further by playing in the Irish PGA Championship here in the week before the British Opens of 2007 and 2008,as a warm-up and went on to win the Open both times.Rory Mcllroy won the Irish Amateur Close Championship here in 2006. Guests are always welcome to this great links, which travels over and through great dunes at Brittas Bay.
